Enhancing Workforce Opportunities for LAX Neighborhoods

LAX is the world’s busiest origin and destination airport, one of the many reasons it is currently engaged in an $8.5B capital improvement plan. This seven-year project will generate about 40,000 jobs and provide substantial economic opportunities for construction-related companies and other businesses. FUSE Fellow Hana Rhee will help develop a strategic plan to engage the community in this improvement project and ensure area residents have the skills and resources needed to compete for jobs and contracts.
