ERIC MATTENSON is an experienced change leader in healthcare, retail, financial, and travel services. In more than 25 years of executive leadership, he has launched and built successful Lean Six Sigma/Business Transformation programs at four Fortune 500 companies, including Walgreens, Quest Diagnostics, GE Capital, and American Express/Thomas Cook Travel. In his most recent role, Eric served as senior director, Walgreens Lean Six Sigma. Previously, he spent nearly a decade leading a team of 15,000 employees in patient services, call/contact centers, and logistics at Quest Diagnostics. Eric earned a BA in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Los Angeles County is working to redesign the way patients access healthcare within the system and transform the process into one that’s efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered. Eric will develop a workflow that will elevate the patient experience.
