JACK SAHL is a leader in corporate responsibility, environmental protection, resource sustainability, and workplace health and safety. He is the founder and principal consultant at Jack Sahl & Associates, a boutique management consulting firm, and co-founded Friends of the Angeles Forest, a California public benefit corporation. Previously, Jack was director of corporate environment and safety at Southern California Edison. He has an M.S. from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. from UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health.
To expand park and recreational space in underserved neighborhoods, the Los Angeles County Regional Parks and Open Space District is piloting a Technical Assistance Program to help these communities compete for new park funding.
