MINOLI RATNATUNGA is an economist interested in what makes cities prosper. As director of regional economics research at the Milken Institute, she led a team examining the role of innovation and human capital in regional growth. Before moving to California, Minoli worked to improve the competitiveness of greater Pittsburgh and foster social enterprise in London. Minoli holds a B.S. in philosophy and economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a M.S. in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Los Angeles County is undertaking a major initiative to meet the needs of a fast-growing older adult population. FUSE executive fellow Minoli Ratnatunga is working with the county to contribute to a five-year strategic plan by conducting vital gap and funding analyses of services for older and dependent adults, and providing strategic recommendations to ensure that growing demands for services will be met.
