As a Director of Strategic Partnerships at FUSE, David Maloney cultivates relationships with city and county leaders nationwide to develop projects that advance critical initiatives and enhance communities.
For nearly 20 years, David has worked across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, as well as within different cultures and environments. Cities and urban issues are a passion and at the core of his experience. Prior to joining FUSE, David worked for the National League of Cities, where he forged relationships between NLC and the private sector, recruiting some of the world’s most innovative companies to engage with leaders from cities across America.
Earlier in his career, he worked on public policy in Westchester County, New York, examining the impact that city, county, and state policies have on regional workforce development, transportation, the environment, and business vitality. He has also worked for the Mayor’s Office in White Plains, New York, where he oversaw a broad portfolio, including economic development and community engagement. David received his B.A. from Pace University and an MPA from the University of Central Florida.
