Jamie Gardner is a social entrepreneur whose passion and experience is deep rooted in bringing private- and public-sector leaders together to bridge today’s most complex, systemic societal divides. She leads a consultancy practice that turns big ideas into action and ultimately, real results.
Jamie’s clients have included Salesforce, ServiceMaster, Cisco, Capital One, Deloitte LLC, Gap Inc., Target, the U.S. Senate Subcommittee for Children and Families, the State of Nebraska, Children’s Defense Fund, Got Your 6, and Net Impact.
Previously, as the Vice President and “Chief Evangelist” for Taproot Foundation, Jamie established and directed the Pro Bono Action Tank’s mission to expand the pro bono ethic beyond the legal profession. Through this effort, she founded a consulting service and a resource center to set national quality standards and best practices for pro bono service, ultimately influencing Fortune 500 companies to accept pro bono service as a standing practice.
Prior to that, Jamie was a consultant at IBM and J.D. Edwards, where she led business development opportunities and the implementation of complex business and technology systems across a range of industries.
She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University, and undergraduate degrees in finance and marketing. Jamie lives in the Bay Area with her husband and twin sons.
