Prior to coming to FUSE, Jenny Smith spent five years with a boutique Boston area search firm. As the chief operating officer, she led a team of recruiters, oversaw recruitment delivery, client relations, business development and marketing and implemented the organization’s talent management strategy. In the search and talent acquisition industries, Jenny’s roles have included working as recruiting consultant, the development and leadership of an executive human resource search practice, as well as director of organizational development, where she ensured the alignment of learning and development and talent management practices with strategic organizational objectives.
Outside of recruitment and human resources, Jenny has experience with admissions as well as operations, marketing and business development in various industries. She has served as the general manager for two small businesses in her home state of New Hampshire. Jenny obtained her Senior Certification (SCP) as a human resource professional through the Society for Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Diversity Recruitment Professional. She also studied Industrial Organizational Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, and obtained her MBA in Sustainable Business through Antioch University, New England.
